Xiamen BRICS New Industrial Capacity Enhancement Center (Huaqiao University) was inaugurated on the afternoon of Nov. 2nd. Huang Xiaozhou, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, Vice mayor of Xiamen Municipal Government and director of Xiamen BPIC Leading Group Office attended the unveiling ceremony.

During the Ceremony, Huaqiao university, signed a cooperation agreement respectively with ASBM; State University of Goiás, Brazil; Ural Federal University, Russia; Moscow State Academy of Arts and Crafts, Russia; and Xiamen Jihong technology co., Ltd. the subject training, personnel training, exchange of visits between teachers and students in colleges and universities and scientific research cooperation and so on.Cooperation will be carried out in thematic training, personnel training, mutual visits between university teachers and students, and scientific research.

After the unveiling ceremony, Zhang Hongjun, a former senior colonel of a PLA department, delivered a lecture entitled "Protecting the overseas interests of BRICS countries " to representatives of relevant enterprises as well as the teachers and students of Huaqiao University. He shared with them the external risks faced by BRICS cooperation, prevention and countermeasures, case introduction and other aspects.
